Short answer

A complete indoor LED screen, meaning cabinets with spares, structure, power, processor and flight cases, costs from about 10.6 to 19.8 thousand PLN net per square metre in our catalogue. The larger the screen, the lower the price per metre, because the processor and distribution box do not grow with every metre. A 4 × 2.5 m screen (10 m²) costs 132–154 thousand PLN net depending on pitch (ICON 3.9 IP or Icon 2.6; ICON 2.9 Hybrid on request), and a 6 × 3.5 m outdoor screen about 251 thousand PLN net. Installation and commissioning are priced separately, from 3,800 PLN net.

What the price of an LED screen is made of

An LED screen is a system, not a stack of panels. The configurator calculates five blocks, exactly as the order later looks. The shares below are an example of a 4 × 2.5 m screen (ICON 3.9 IP, stands), 132,449 PLN net in total.

  • A. Screen: 92,784 PLN (70%). 40 cabinets of 50 × 50 cm plus 8 spares (rule: +5%, minimum 2 pieces, topped up to a full flight case of 8 cabinets, because FOS ships cabinets only in full cases), so that a single failure does not stop the screen.
  • B. Structure: 20,198 PLN (15%). FOS LWS stands with base and stabilisers. When the screen hangs from rigging points in the venue, this block drops to 12,096 PLN.
  • C. Power: 1,032 PLN (1%). CEE 32 A distribution box with 6 circuits of 16 A; a 10 m² screen needs 4 circuits.
  • D. Signal: 8,361 PLN (6%). Icon VX600 PRO processor (6 ports, up to 3.9 million pixels). This is a fixed cost: the same for 3 m² and for 20 m².
  • E. Flight cases: 10,074 PLN (8%). One case per 8 cabinets; you buy them once, for the whole life of the screen.

How to read the table
The price covers the complete set A–E. It does not include installation, site survey, data cabling, counterweights, delivery or training. Amounts are net, indicative and valid for 14 days; they do not constitute a commercial offer within the meaning of Art. 66 § 1 of the Polish Civil Code.

What changes the price most

  • Pitch, i.e. viewing distance. The same 10 m² screen with Icon 2.6 cabinets costs 21,312 PLN more than with ICON 3.9 IP (ICON 2.9 Hybrid is quoted on request). A denser pitch makes sense when the nearest viewer stands closer than 5 m.
  • Size. The processor (8,361 PLN) and the distribution box do not grow with every metre, so 3 m² costs about 19.8 thousand PLN per metre, and 36 m² only 10.6 thousand. Enlarging a screen from 6 to 10 m² adds less than the proportion suggests.
  • Mounting method. Stands with a base for 10 m² cost 20,198 PLN; ready rigging points in the venue replace them with 12,096 PLN. The client's own truss only needs mounting hardware; FOS truss from us is quoted separately.
  • Indoor or outdoor. Outdoors, only IP65 cabinets remain (ICON 2.9 Hybrid, ICON 3.9 IP), and counterweights or a sturdy wind-rated structure are added.
  • Processor. VX600 PRO handles up to 3.9 million pixels; larger screens get a VX1000 PRO (11,611 PLN, 10 ports) or additional processors.
  • Spare cabinets. Always +5%, minimum 2 pieces, topped up to a full flight case of 8 cabinets (FOS ships cabinets only in full cases), and always included in the price. An offer without spares only looks cheaper until the first failure.

What the set price does not include

We say this before the quote, not after it. To the configurator set you need to add:

  • Site survey: 600 PLN net. We measure the space and the power points; the amount is credited towards the project.
  • Installation and commissioning: from 3,800 PLN net. We set up, connect, calibrate colour and brightness across cabinets and hand over a working screen.
  • Data cabling. CAT5e / Ethercon along the length of the room, priced after the survey.
  • Counterweights for stands. The LWS-2 stand requires 32 kg per metre of screen width, LWS-3 93 kg, LWS-4 160 kg; they are bought separately.
  • Delivery. Warsaw and all of Poland; delivery to the EU is priced separately (intra-EU VAT).
  • Operator training as well as content and a player, if the screen is to play from its own source.

What to check when comparing cheaper offers

A difference of tens of thousands of zloty between offers almost always sits in one of six places:

  • Refresh rate. Compare the value from the manufacturer's documentation for the specific cabinet; ICON 2.9 Hybrid has 7 680 Hz.
  • Brightness. Indoors, 800 nits (Icon 2.6) is enough; a sunlit shop window and outdoors need 4 000 nits and more.
  • Ingress protection. Icon 2.6 is for indoor use only; outdoors IP65 (ICON 2.9 Hybrid, ICON 3.9 IP). ICON 2.9 Hybrid switches its settings between indoor and outdoor use.
  • What is included. Structure, processor, distribution box, flight cases and spare cabinets can “drop out” of a cheaper offer and come back on the invoice.
  • Service and parts. Availability of modules and power supplies after two years, response time, who calibrates.
  • Weight and logistics. An ICON cabinet weighs 8 kg; heavier cabinets mean a more expensive structure and a longer installation.

Rent or buy

If the screen will be used a few times a year, renting will be cheaper; if it works regularly, buying pays off faster than it seems. For a 10 m² screen, the break-even point falls at several to a dozen or so events a year, depending on rental rates and resale value. Work it out with your own figures in the break-even calculator. Within our group, rental is handled by Media Rental, and sales and installation by VEX Systems, so we calculate fairly both ways.

How to price your own screen in three minutes

  1. Choose the location (indoor or outdoor) and enter how close the nearest viewer stands. The configurator selects the pitch and the cabinet model itself.
  2. Enter the width and height in metres. You will see a scale drawing with a human silhouette, a 16:9 frame, the number of cabinets, weight, power and processor.
  3. Choose the mounting and get a quote in five blocks. Download the PDF sheet or send an enquiry with just your e-mail address; we call back within one business day.

Frequently asked questions about LED screen prices

How much does a 3 × 2 m LED screen cost?
In our catalogue, a complete 3 × 2 m indoor set (Icon 2.6, viewer at 3–4 m, on stands) costs about 105 thousand PLN net: 24 cabinets plus 8 spares (spares topped up to full cases of 8), 1152 × 768 px, 2.7 kW maximum power, structure, distribution box, VX600 PRO processor and 4 flight cases. When the viewer stands further than 5 m away, the same size with ICON 3.9 IP cabinets comes out cheaper, because the cabinet itself is cheaper. You can calculate the exact amount for your layout in the configurator.
How much does a square metre of LED screen cost?
A complete set (cabinets with spares, structure, power, processor, flight cases) costs from about 10.6 to 19.8 thousand PLN net per m²: the larger the screen, the lower the price per metre, because the processor and distribution box do not grow with every metre. The cabinets alone cost about 7.7 thousand PLN net per m² for ICON 3.9 IP and 9.5 thousand for Icon 2.6 (4 cabinets of 50 × 50 cm per metre); ICON 2.9 Hybrid is quoted on request.
How much does an outdoor LED screen cost?
Outdoors, only IP65 cabinets work: ICON 3.9 IP or ICON 2.9 Hybrid (the latter on request). A complete 6 × 3.5 m (21 m²) set with ICON 3.9 IP on stands costs about 251 thousand PLN net, 8 × 4.5 m (36 m²) about 381 thousand PLN net. With stands, counterweights are added; when hanging, the venue structure must carry the screen with a 40% margin.
How much electricity does an LED screen use?
We calculate by maximum power: 150 W per cabinet for ICON 2.9 Hybrid and 3.9 IP, and 112.5 W for Icon 2.6. A 4 × 2.5 m screen means 6 kW maximum and 4 circuits of 16 A. With typical content the screen draws on average 30–50% of its maximum power, so 8 hours of operation of such a screen is roughly 15–25 kWh. The configurator shows the power and number of circuits for every size.
How much does LED screen installation cost?
Installation and commissioning with calibration start from 3,800 PLN net; before quoting we carry out a site survey for 600 PLN net, credited towards the project. Data cabling, counterweights for stands and delivery are quoted separately. The amount grows with the mounting height, type of structure and access to the site.
Are LED screen prices net or gross?
All prices in the VEX catalogue and configurator are net. We sell to companies with an active Polish tax ID (NIP) against a VAT invoice, so 23% VAT is added: 132,449 PLN net is 162,912 PLN gross. The configurator quote is indicative, valid for 14 days and does not constitute a commercial offer.
