Will VEX find a device compatible with the brand I already use, if the original is unavailable?
Yes. We check the technical parameters of your current system (control protocol, impedance, connectors, power) and propose a replacement that works without rebuilding the rest of the installation.
Do I need to know the exact model to select a replacement part?
No. It's enough to describe the system (brand, year of installation, a photo of the nameplate or a serial number) — we'll find a matching part or ask the manufacturer for an equivalent.
Can I order a single cable or connector, or only larger kits?
You can order a single item. Equipment upgrades have no minimum threshold — you send an inquiry for exactly what's missing.
Does extending an installation require an on-site technician visit?
Not always. For a simple extension (extra speakers, another controller) we can advise remotely from a description and photos. For complex extensions we suggest a site visit before quoting.
