Short answer: which LED PAR to choose
For a hall, church or restaurant a simple installation PAR is enough, e.g. FOS Par 7x10W ALU. For stage and touring we go for versions with powerCON, e.g. FOS Par 12x15WPRO Rgbwa. Outdoors you need IP65, e.g. FOS TOURING PAR 7X15 IP HEX. When the light has to reach further or change the beam width, we choose a model with zoom, e.g. FOS PAR Zoom Ultra.

Outdoors: when you need IP65
A fixture without an IP rating is not suitable for rain and damp. For open-air events, facades and outdoor shows choose IP65 fixtures, e.g. FOS TOURING PAR 7X15 IP HEX and the more powerful FOS Vortex PAR IP65. When several fixtures are chained on one line, pay attention to the IP-rated power connectors.
Control: DMX or wireless
Most FOS PARs are controlled over DMX. There are also models with wireless DMX, e.g. FOS IQ Par IP65 HEX WDMX and FOS IQ PAR ZOOM IP65 WDMX, for when you would rather not run cables. A simple fader controller from the catalogue is enough for a small installation.
