How do I choose the right truss profile for a given load?
We total the mass of the equipment (lighting, screens, speakers) plus a safety margin and check the span between support points. Only then do we select the profile — square for longer spans, triangular or flat for lighter loads.
Do I need an electric hoist to fly truss, or is manual rigging enough?
Depends on the structure's weight and how often it's built and struck. For fixed installations and heavier loads we specify electric hoists with certified capacity; for a one-off event, manual rigging can be enough.
Who's responsible for load calculations and structural safety?
We select components based on declared equipment loads and the truss's technical parameters. For complex, permanent installations we recommend additional structural calculations by a licensed engineer — we help compile the input data.
Does touring truss differ from truss for a fixed installation?
Yes. Touring truss uses quick-connect fittings for frequent transport and strike; for a fixed installation you can choose a variant without fast-deployment fittings, usually at lower cost.
